The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection on PCs
Ninja Gaiden is a series of games developed and published by Ninja Gaiden Productions for the PlayStation. The first game in the series, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, was released in the mid-1990s on the Atari ST and followed by a number of sequels. It has been ported to various systems over the years, including the PC, Xbox, and Dreamcast, but has been widely regarded as the worst port of the series to date. The Ninja Gaiden PC ports have not been as well received. They are often criticized for being not terribly optimized. They are also accused of being poor ports that are too expensive. Many also charge that these ports are a rip-off of the Atari Jaguar version. The biggest problem with the Ninja Gaiden ports has been the way that they have been released. They were originally published as Japanese language releases in Japan. After the ports are released in other countries where they are not localized for their own languages, they are often pirated and sold out almost immediately. The ports were also often made available as freeware. The most popular ports have been published by the Japanese company 3DPart.
Ninja Gaiden PC ports were also available for the DOS version of the game that came out in Japan a few years after the North American release, which made the game more available to a wider audience (in Japan).

In this weeks post we’ll talk about the most popular gaming news and gaming related events that caught our eyes. So let’s get started.
Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft’s announcement of Game DVR is great news.
Sony and Nintendo have teamed up to bring the game recording capabilities to all of their consoles. With the upcoming Game DVR we can record videos and play them back later for editing purposes if we so choose. We may be able to edit in facial recognition, 3D modeling, and other features like motion blur and more. We can even do this on non-Nintendo consoles and we are already working on it within Sony’s PlayStation 4 announcement. In addition to this, if we were to take this to an official level the Game DVR could be used by studios to record movies on a dedicated space ship or inside a space station.
