David Denniston. The Chief Financial Officer of GlobeX was a very prominent figure at the Vancouver School of Economics at the beginning of the ’90s. His name comes up in many articles and has become a common buzzword, although his real achievements are not often discussed. I decided to research the company to find out more about him, particularly his background, the growth of his company and how GlobeX has performed.
The Vancouver School of Economics was founded in 1989 as the School of Business and Economics. The first class of twenty students was full. The following year, the students had an additional $35,000 in their bank accounts, enabling them to purchase more books and pay off their student loans. The primary motivation behind the current study is to develop a fast, scalable parallelization technique for the processing of multidimensional data, particularly in the areas of data mining and predictive modeling. Based on prior literature, the first objective is to build on the parallelization techniques already demonstrated in the literature by the author and collaborators in order to enhance the performance and efficiency of the proposed techniques for practical applications in high volume data mining. For this purpose, the author and collaborators have designed a new parallelization technique to implement the proposed parallelization technique in several languages in order to improve usability and to ensure scalability. The second objective is to compare the efficiencies of the proposed parallelization technique with the parallelization technique proposed by the author and collaborators in the application area of predictive modeling in the context of high volume data mining. For this purpose, the proposed parallelization technique is compared for the application of multiclass classification problems with a classification algorithm that employs the existing parallelization technique proposed by the author and collaborators in the application area of multivariate linear regression. Thus, by evaluating the parallelization technique proposed in this paper for the multivariate linear regression application area, it is expected that the parallelization technique developed in this research to be used in high volume data mining.
Although many parallelization techniques have been developed in the literature, very few have been implemented in practice. The most relevant of them are parallelization techniques proposed by the author and collaborators in the parallelization area of the application of multivariate linear regression (cf. , for example, Kandel and Peherstorfer, 2003, P-MLR, pp. 27-50 and Kandel, 2004, Parallelization in Numerical Methods for Machine Learning, pp. In addition, more information is available concerning parallelization techniques developed in the parallelization area of the application of multivariate linear regression (cf. , for example, Kandel, 2004, Parallelization in Numerical Methods for Machine Learning, pp. 77-101 and Kandel, 2003, Parallelization in Numerical Methods for Machine Learning, pp. However, most of the literature to date is related only to problems for which the parallelization technique is demonstrated.
