The game of Life is the most played computer game in the world; over 2 billion games are played on any one given day. 1 Most Life games are of three types: the first is an all-staged event in which players are given a piece of land and have to create a life within it; the second is an event of elimination in which a player leaves the game by cutting out one of the players; and the third is a two-person relay race in which a player runs from point A to point B. Each of these game types has several variations and many have become classics among the game world. Because of this, computers are the most commonly used devices in Life games: computers can solve the game of Life as quickly as humans, and are even capable of playing the second event within the game if this is the event being used as a starting point.
The last game played under the name of the game of Life, the game of Dahlia, was first published in 1938 by Harold C.

“We are not a rating body for video games,” GameSpot’s Director of Video Games Operations says. “We are going to work to make a metric that accurately measures where the game is on the spectrum of buzz, including which games will be most interesting in terms of player responses.
The buzz metric, which measures buzz around the video game from the perspective of the player, is published each week online on The GameSpot by GAME. The buzz score is determined by GameSpot’s staff of writers.
The buzz metric aims to measure “the amount of buzz around PC games” in a way that “gives you a sense of how much players are interested in each game or what players are thinking, and of how players perceive the game.

The GameSpot Trax Buzz Metric has been in its current format since its introduction in last month, with each week’s score published on both The GameSpot website and in a blog post on GameSpot’s website.
