There’s a certain element of risk that comes with the idea that your life could be completely disrupted by the arrival of an update to the electronic filing system. At this time, there is no federal agency that is taking this seriously, and so it is not cost-effective for them to take the steps necessary to start with the second digit.
This would be an excellent opportunity to either provide the information that the agency is requesting from you (which would come in the form of a printout or a PDF document) or, and even better, have the electronic filing system in place so that this process doesn’t have to wait until your next court date.
