Error Code 0x0001 in NVIDIA GeForce Experience Utility

This problem is most commonly related to running a game at a high spec. For a better resolution and framerate, the GPU may need to be disabled and overclocked. Disabling the GPU is a good plan to prevent stuttering or a stutter and a low framerate.

1- Wait a few minutes before playing the game. To take advantage of the GPU, you should play the game first to let the GPU heat up and heat the whole system. If you have recently installed any drivers you may need to remove them before playing the game. 2- If you are still having problems, then either increase your settings to higher FPS or try a program like C4D or Cinebench to test your settings. 3- Before applying the game or installing any other drivers, go to your Desktop and install those drivers, then restart your PC (Ctrl+Alt+Backspace). That should solve your problem, unless it is a bug that the game is still running at a high spec or you have a driver issue.

For the error, go to your GeForce Experience Utility, click on the Error List, and add it by clicking on “+”. After you select an Error Code, you can see a list of all possible issues for your game. When you click on the “+”, it will open in a new window and will not be counted as an issue.

Optimal updates for NVIDIA drivers services

A recent issue concerning the use of NVIDIA drivers services for installing updates has been making the rounds on the internet. The issue has been reported to NVIDIA which has responded by sending an e-mail to the developers of NVIDIA’s linux driver, stating that “this issue has been fixed and an update is available. ” This update is no longer restricted to the above mentioned issue.

A user who found an identical issue to the one reported in the NVIDIA e-mail went to this site because it also appeared to be an issue with the update.

A search for the user on google and this site also showed matches for this issue.

It occurs to me that the update may depend on the distribution you’re trying. Are you using Linux Mint, Ubuntu, or Fedora? Is it a Linux install and the distribution’s package manager is updating packages directly? If so, that might be a reason to take a look at its package manager.

An additional possibility that I haven’t thought about is that an e-mail from NVIDIA may be being interpreted as a demand for a particular release of a given kernel. The kernel version for the current distribution is only used to calculate how much memory to install for the package that is being updated.

I’ve seen that a few people here have posted the same (or similar) issues, so it would be good to see a summary (or report it to the developers of NVIDIA’s linux driver) as to what happened, and who fixed it, if applicable.

I think most of the issues people are reporting are pretty easy to track down. And I agree that it would be great if it was reported to the developers of the linux driver in a more official fashion.

If an update doesn’t install just make sure you do a backup of your system before trying to install the update.

Not sure it’s even possible to update to the last version, that is what people seem to be concerned here.
