The new 6-cylinder is powered by a new 5-valve DOHC design and will be built in Asia with both standard and supercharged versions. The 6-cylinder engine has a displacement of 5. 0 liters and maximum power of 315 PS (205 kW) and a maximum torque of 330 Nm (220 lb-ft) and should be available by 2010. The supercharged version has a displacement of 5. 2 liters and a maximum power of 358 PS (244 kW). The transmission is a 6-speed automatic and the 5-speed automatic transmission is optional. The V8 engine is the most powerful V8 in production and can run at a maximum power of around 400 PS (300 kW), giving it excellent acceleration and handling at high speeds.

The V8 Supercar features 2-liter turbo diesel engines with a nominal fuel efficiency of 70 miles per gallon (mpge) – an impressive result that will have little effect on future petrol engined cars. This is partly due to the engine’s high level of resistance to compression, which has allowed the engine to achieve higher compression ratios, which improves efficiency while also reducing emissions. The fuel consumption also is much lower than before, improving on a previous result of the diesel. The V8 Supercar will be available with both supercharged and supercharged versions of the same engine that is being developed in conjunction with the Ford Motor Company in Europe. The engine is based on the same 5-valve DOHC design, but the supercharger is located in the block, ensuring that emissions are also much lower than before. The supercharged version is also much more powerful than the standard version.

The engine is based on the same design as the V8 Supercar and the same engine technology, only now the block is a new one. The block is the same one used on the V8 Supercar, only with two pistons: one in the cylinder head and one on the crankshaft. The same design is now being adopted by Visteon, although it is not clear yet whether the new engine will be a small displacement or a larger one.
