Jagex Shuts Down Old School RuneScape HD Mod
Runescape’s fans can no longer make their mod, called “Vet”, compatible with the latest version of RuneScape or any other mod that might be made for it. The mod will also now be removed, as can be seen in the game’s ‘History’ section, which is still on the game’s official site.
I will also be taking down my forum account, I will be transferring you here, for the time being, at least, so we can start discussing all this.
Now, I want to explain this because many games have similar problems, as I have seen for others. Many mods fail on the mod section because of the lack of information about the mod.
Well, I am pretty sure that this issue is not directly related to any mod. I am pretty sure one of the reasons why Runescape has had problems with HD fans is because the mod was incompatible with the latest version of RuneScape.
The problem started in May, which was the first month of the game’s release. I am not sure when exactly, but some of the mods did not work on the game’s version released that month.

This was the first time I saw that these mods were having problems working in the game’s latest version. Several other mods started showing problems within a short span of time. Many other mods were displaying the same problems.

Jagex shuts down Old School RuneScape HD mod.
Jagex, an international game development company and publisher, has shut down its Old School RuneScape HD mod.
RuneScape Classic was announced to be compatible with the Jagex Online Engine, which was originally released by Jagex in 1999. The player-created content and development tools that Jagex developed for RuneScape were later integrated into the game.
Unfortunately, Jagex’s development of RuneScape Classic was not without some controversy. Jagex claimed that Jagex was only involved in the creation of RuneScape Classic and not the game itself, and that as a result of the controversy, Jagex was forced to halt development of RuneScape Classic and shut down development of their Online Engine. Several Jagex employees have stated publicly that they did not play RuneScape Classic.
RuneScape Classic is a game that was designed and developed by Jagex (not Jagex Online. net) and was publicly announced in 1998. It was intended to be an expansion to the RuneScape game, but the plan did not go to plan. Jagex and the RuneScape team decided not to expand their product and instead decided to expand the game itself to make it the best it could be. The main feature of the game was the creation of the Jagex Online Engine, which Jagex created for RuneScape, but the game itself had no online component. Although they kept some of the game’s core systems, all of the system was created for RuneScape.
