The Open Source Investigation (OSI) is a project to make the free and open source software (FOSS) communities more effective and accountable. The OSI is organized as a multidisciplinary group of people and organizations. The primary area of focus is the development and use of open source software.
Over the past few years there has been a high demand for tools. The number of developers and users in the Open Source industry in general is large. There are also a few tools which are specific to a single task in the Open Source environment. It is unlikely that any single Open Source tool can offer all what the OSI can offer. The OSI is working towards building an open source tool kit which combines tools which are developed as part of the OSI into a coherent whole. These tools can then be used by other Open Source projects as well. The result will be a new, effective, and effective Open Source investigation tool kit.
The following article is a summary of the current state and status of the open source investigation tools which the OSI is working towards building. It takes as a base that we have some tools currently in the works but has been developed mostly in our own time instead of being a public project to make these tools available to the community.
We will not be providing a comprehensive tool list. We hope to focus on the types of tools which are actively being developed for the OSI.
First the OSI tool kit and then we will discuss the OSI’s specific tool library.
Open Source Investigation (OSI) is attempting to become an effective and effective tool kit for Open Source investigations. The OSI is developing an open source toolkit which will form a coherent piece of open source software with the OSI. The toolkit will complement the OSI’s tools and will offer additional functionality as well. The tools within the OSI toolkit will be developed as part of the OSI.

You may remember Bellingcat as the story of a website that has uncovered and exposed the hacking of Linux for the surveillance industry. While they are not as well known as the NSA, as they are run by the same group who does what the NSA does, the Bellingcat Project is not a small operation. The Bellingcat Project is based out of Italy and they are based out of Italy for a reason. They are going to work to create tools for open source investigators that are very valuable for people who are looking into hacking for law enforcement.
In the news, it was announced that the Bellingcat Project has been looking into hacking for the intelligence industry and other aspects of the security industry. While they first started with the security for the surveillance industry, they went after many things for the security industry including the monitoring of wireless networks. In their latest work, they are going to build the tools that they can use to investigate any hacking attempt because they are not afraid to go after anyone who might try to hack them. Bellingcat is working on the tools, so if someone tries to hack them, they’ll be able to respond immediately and protect that person.
These tools can be used to take down a network in under 30 seconds because we can detect if there is a lot of data traffic or the whole system is in meltdown. They are going to focus on the security for wireless networks and the security for the surveillance industry. Bellingcat is going to focus on making the tools for these industries not just a surveillance tool, but there are other areas that it can work on. There have been a number of leaks regarding the surveillance industry that they can use to find a lot of information about how that industry works.
