What I want to do: I want to write something that I don’t fear writing. The fear isn’t that I’m going to be criticized in a post that I won’t be able to finish. Rather it’s that I’ll be criticized because it’s me who will be writing this, not you. It’s a way of thinking. A way of writing that I want to grow into. I don’t want to be just another critic.
I don’t want to just say, “Firing on all cylinders” and then leave. I don’t want to say, “I fired on all cylinders” or “I fired out of all cylinders”, or “I fired out of all cylinders” and then leave. I want to say, “I fired on all cylinders” and then leave. It feels right.
Why I do it: I believe that the first step in achieving a good result is to know and understand why what you want to do comes to you. I want to do what I want to do because I want to, not because I think it’s the right thing. I want to want to want to want.
To do it, I had to make one thing clear: I have no interest in writing something that I feel is inferior to others or that I think will be boring. I’m not interested in putting a message down that’s not worth a thousand people on the internet who will read it. I don’t want to write, “Your kids are so smart and they should do this or that”, or “The world should be this or that”. I want to write, “I fired on all cylinders.
What’s the result: It’s the exact opposite of what I do. I’m really annoyed by writing things that don’t “work”. I just don’t see the point of doing anything.
The result is that I’m less productive. But it’s not about “productivity”. It’s about having the freedom to choose and not caring.
Why it matters: I don’t care about the freedom. I care about not being bothered by the things I should be bothered by.

Tips of the Day in Computer Hardware
These are three things that you may find interesting around the web, but we can’t seem to find that on our site. It’s nice to have a site where you can find that kind of stuff.
I just want to add a couple of items here.
The first one here is a comparison of the new AMD’s Zen CPU to the Intel Core i7.
As a side note, the only new features here are the memory controller and the second half of the thermal design. These are two features that could only come from AMD’s new architecture.
The first point I want to talk about is a little bit of a secret: we are looking at AMD’s Zen architecture (AMD-ZEN) as a whole. That’s the AMD logo displayed, not every chip.
The new chips, especially the Zen+ products, have more cores, more threads and more L3 cache than the current AMD CPUs.
But there is no “Zen+” or “Zen 2 chips”.
