It is a distributed, software-defined networking (SDN) infrastructure and a network of network devices (NVDs) including NVDs for WAN traffic, NVDs for LAN traffic, and dedicated WAN and LAN NVDs. The key features of WiteSand include a flexible, highly scalable and scalable virtual environment with a transparent virtual network with virtual routers, virtual switches, virtual routers and a virtual network. A few years ago, a few folks from the security industry decided to publish a white paper (link below) called “Solutions for the Enterprise. ” The paper covered the basics of networking infrastructure security and what’s needed by enterprises to successfully design networks that meet SLAs, security, and compliance.

For a long time that was enough to keep them relevant. However, there are some compelling questions about how the enterprise should approach security in its networks.

The security industry has a long and storied history of trying to define the best security practice for the enterprise. What started off as a discussion to define the best solution for the enterprise was turned into a series of best practices. This process allowed the security industry to build on the knowledge of the security community, and eventually, create standards and standards bodies to define the best practices.

The first industry-wide best practices for the enterprise were adopted in 1995 with the formation of the Security Information and Event Management Working Group (SIEM).
