It’s not every day that we see a new notebook from one of the top two laptop makers, Dell, as part of a promotion that allows you to pick up a laptop when they’re running a “Best Buy” coupon. But on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, all hell broke loose in the Staples warehouse in the middle of the desert, causing the laptops to be taken from the shelves and sold directly to Best Buy.
The Dell XPS 12 and XPS 13 Ultra laptops that were supposed to be on sale Thursday morning were no longer on sale. Dell’s website showed “out of stock” for both of these laptops, and there were no signs to indicate when they would be back on sale. There were no comments from Dell or the store on the situation, but it was clear that Dell had “lost interest” in the promotion. These laptops will be out of stock for two to three weeks, and then again for another two to three weeks.
Dell officials have made no comment on the situation, though they did tell Computer Hardware that the laptop promotion ends “immediately.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 14-inch laptop

With a keyboard that is comfortable and easy to use it is very easy to type on it and using the laptops keyboard is quick and efficient, and is a real improvement on the ThinkPad’s trackpads.
If you are after a smaller sized, lighter laptop, then this is definitely something to consider, and one worth looking at especially if you are looking for something that is not fully USB3.
Display and Resolution: The IdeaPad Slim 7 has a 4-inch screen, which is an excellent size for a 14-inch laptop. The display is bright, glossy and sharp, and although not exactly wide, it looks great.
