The City has installed a new attraction at its Philadelphia Cherry Street Pier, a former shipyard a short walk from the new Wells Fargo Center. The new pier is located on Cherry Street and takes up much of the space that was once a small dock or loading area for shipping ships. A new “Sail Up” attraction will include a unique mix of food trucks, music and entertainment.

The story of how Cherry Street Pier began, where it came from, and what it currently has as its future, are all relevant issues. But if a company like Philadelphia’s Philadelphia Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) wants to have a new pier at its Philly Wells Fargo Center site, it is facing new threats. In this report, we will take a look at all these issues.

The new Cherry Street Pier is the second new pier to be installed on the waterfront, following the first in 2008. For Philly Sports & Entertainment president Doug Parnell, the pier is part of the company’s plan to provide a new, larger location for the Wells Fargo Center. The company will have a new space at the Wells Fargo Center site by summer 2014, after the construction of the new arena.

The Cherry Street Pier, once a site for loading ships, is now an attraction for waterfront entertainment and views of Philadelphia’s beautiful waterfront views. Many are interested in the property, which is located in an area of the city that has seen a number of industrial developments in recent years. In particular, it is a small site that has seen the rapid growth of the former shipbuilding yard.

According to Philadelphia Sports & Entertainment, the Pier has long been a focal point for Philadelphia’s waterfront scene. Since 2007, Cherry Street Pier has hosted the annual Cherry Street Pier Festival (held at the old rail station at Cherry Street and Market Street), and has hosted the annual PierFest (held at the new Pier). The Pier has also hosted numerous concerts in recent years, including some appearances by artists you may have heard of: Coldplay and Ed Sheeran.

The Fleisher Art Memorial-Casa de Venezuela Philadelphia Latinx Craft Fair

In April 2017 Art Fund and Friends of the Fleisher Art Memorial presented the first annual Philadelphia Latinx Craft Fair, an exhibition that explores the contemporary art of Philadelphia Latinx artists. Since its conception, the exhibition has been hosted at the Fleisher Art Memorial and has included over 50 artists from around the city of Philadelphia who are working in a variety of media. The 2017 Philadelphia Latinx Craft Fair is expected to run from April 25 – June 5, 2017 at the Fleisher Art Memorial.

The last time I was in Philadelphia, the Fleisher Art Memorial was in full swing. I had the pleasure of visiting the museum in June 2016 and going through the temporary exhibitions that were running and seeing a couple of my favorite pieces. For someone who doesn’t have much time to look at art, the Fleisher Art Museum was the perfect place to check out. The museum features a collection of over 150 pieces that were donated by artists of all over the world and was dedicated in 1983 as a way to honor those who contributed to Philadelphia’s art scene. The museum features over 60 pieces of art that span a variety of media.

What can I say? The sculpture garden was beautiful, the museum staff was very friendly and the staff was helpful.

The gallery is beautiful.

The sculpture garden is amazing.

It was great to walk around and see everything.
