This paper describes Euclideon’s Largest Geospatial Data Platform, a massively scalable platform for geospatial data storage and analysis. The platform provides a new data storage, processing, and analysis capability on top of existing cloud infrastructures that are used by commercial customers such as U. Department of Defense, NASA, and many others. The platform offers an enterprise-class solution to the challenge of processing and analyzing large volumes of geospatial data. This capability is unique in its scale and is currently implemented on two Amazon Web Services-based data centers. The paper describes the various stages of the project that was completed at Amazon in February 2016 including our technical architecture, platform architecture, design, development, development verification, and deployment.

A large volume of geospatial data is produced by a number of government, nongovernment, and private commercial organizations. The geospatial data volume is growing rapidly. To meet the growing demand for geospatial data in various applications, large-scale platforms are being developed to address the storage and processing needs. In this paper we describe Euclideon’s Largest Geospatial Data Platform, a massively scalable platform. The Euclideon Platform can be deployed on two cloud infrastructures, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, to provide a service to support a variety of important applications such as: military, homeland security, homeland security research, and commercial security. The Euclideon Platform offers a new data storage, processing, and analysis capability on top of existing cloud infrastructures that are used by commercial customers such as U. Department of Defense, NASA, and many others. The platform is comprised of three parts: (a) a data platform, (b) a geospatial data processing platform, and, (c) a geospatial data analysis tool. The current primary focus of the data platform is on geospatial data storage and analysis, as it is a significant user application. The data platform provides a complete storage and processing solution for large-volume geospatial data that can be scaled to meet the demand for large volumes of geospatial data. The software is written in Java and uses the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure.

As the largest health insurance business in the country, Sequana Holdings is required to issue H1 insurance in H1 2021 to cover the costs incurred by health insurance services and cover the remaining costs in other businesses. The new government insurance plans are regulated as a “single-purpose company”. On the one hand, the company is required to maintain a separate accounting of healthcare expenses, including all health insurance expenses, insurance cost and premium. On the other hand, it is required to pay all health insurance related expenses to the government annually. As a result, the company is required to maintain and make available to government and insurance consumers all necessary information, including tax, claims and other documentation applicable to the business. The company will issue H1 Insurance to government and insurance consumers on the basis of the information that the company has provided, and will process the payment of premium and claims. The company also aims to provide additional services, such as offering advice on how to select and purchase the best health insurance, and offering information on how to select and purchase an H1 Insurance. The company will continue to operate in addition to the existing H1 Insurance business as a part of Seqana Holdings’ existing business. H1 2020 provides the government the flexibility to allow the companies to provide additional healthcare services. H1 2020 will be a new insurance scheme to be introduced in the new year. The new health insurance business will come into effect on October 1, 2021. Based on the information available to it, the company expects to be able to operate in the H1 2021 business with all benefits of the existing business, as well as to pay its share of the premium for healthcare services from the H1 2020 insurance to the government.

Compressed natural gas (CNG), produced from natural gas, is a liquid gas. Many countries have used CNG trucks for transportation of natural gas in the last decade. However the use of CNG trucks for transportation of natural gas in Asia is still growing. CNG trucks were not introduced in Asia until the early 90’s. In Japan, for instance, they have been used on a few occasions since the end of 2007. However when and why did CNG trucks become accepted in Asia? According to Mr. Yoshihisa Takeichi, CNG Truck Delivery Manager of Hexagon Agility, Japan is not the first country to have introduced CNG trucks for transportation. He says that Australia, Germany and Russia had previously been using such trucks for transportation. There are reports that Japan is the only country in Asia accepting CNG trucks for natural gas transportation. He explains more precisely how a CNG truck performs as a delivery vehicle in terms of the following three elements: the CNG truck is a semi truck, it is fitted with a compressor and a turbine engine with a generator. He says the CNG truck delivers the gas through the compressor and the turbine engine. He says a CNG truck only supplies natural gas in demand and does not supply to customers. Therefore the CNG truck is not the “black box” of the natural gas transportation that is a delivery vehicle. Takeuchi says the CNG trucks are used in this country because there is a need for them in the natural gas supply market. Takeuchi believes that CNG trucks will become the CNG transportation trucks when there is a long term gas supply supply by CNG trucks to supply power to end users. Takeuchi says the biggest challenge in developing CNG trucks in Japan is the price. A CNG truck will have a limited lifespan of about 20-25 years. Takeuchi says the price issue can be fixed with a certain degree of reliability by the use of a CNG vehicle in the next 5-10 years after that. However, he says a CNG truck should be used in Asia because the demand will continue to increase and the supply must be flexible. Takeuchi believes that CNG trucks can be used in Asia for a 20-25 year period and can be recycled after 20 years.
