I’ve been playing the game for a few days. I play a hero who fights with an axe (in some way) with the intent of making the player’s life miserable. I’ve played several heroes as well, but haven’t been able to consistently beat any. The most prominent heroes in the game I’ve been playing are the ones who are “losing” the most, even through a constant battle. I’m not talking about the battle itself; I’ve been able to complete the battle itself, without losing, but have been extremely frustrated and beaten multiple times. All the heroes I’ve played are from the second level, which is a great step up from the first level, for a game that I generally consider to be beginner-level strategy.
The heroes that tend to win with the largest number of wins are from these levels. Of the two, I’ll stick with the first one, and will be comparing apples to apples. However, the other heroes in this article are very different in the first level.

My first hero: Yawn.
I’ve played him most of the way through the game. I’ve beaten his second level and third level. I’ve beaten his second level boss, which would be a huge achievement, but I’ve never beaten the third level boss. I’ve beaten his second level boss twice, once with a character from the second level, and once with a character from the third level.
The second level boss is a lot harder. It’s an axe wielding boss, and I’ve been able to defeat him with a character who doesn’t even come close to the level of power, let alone the level of skill. However, it’s worth noting that the axe is an artifact of the game, and I’ve probably gotten away with only killing it with my character and the first level hero. I’ve been very lucky so far with the artifact.
Now, the third level boss. After the artifact, this one, I should be able to beat. However, I’ve beaten with my second level hero, a character who’s quite a bit stronger. I’ve beaten him twice, but I’ve beaten him once with my second level character.
