Abstract: This article describes the use of software that has been developed specifically for the Indiana prison system. This software, called the Indiana Correctional Management Information System, has been designed to allow corrections officers to work independently from the prison inmate. This allows corrections officers to take on a broader role in the prison and to address the needs of the entire prison facility. The software is being used in a number of ways, including using it to track and prevent misconduct and to provide data to assist in the management of the prison. This article describes how this software is being used, along with the results of its use.

Abstract In today’s society, it is common for suspects/victims, victims, witnesses, jurors, potential witnesses and media to be involved in some type of judicial or administrative justice system. The increasing trend towards crime history management of crime victim information through software has presented an array of challenges to the criminal justice system, specifically the criminal justice system. As a result, many attempts have been made to develop systems to track and/or manage the information obtained from criminal investigation and/or prosecution. In the past, these efforts have resulted in the criminal justice system being overwhelmed with various software tools that were specifically designed to assist investigators and prosecution personnel in this regard. As a result, these software tools can be cumbersome and difficult to use and manage. This is especially the case in criminal justice systems such as those based in the State of Oregon and California that are based on the Uniform Crime Reporting System (UCR). This article attempts to provide a list of the current tools that are available to assist in the management of all cases, not just those cases that are under investigation or have been charged. While the article should be useful to a wide variety of practitioners, practitioners in the criminal justice research and development field (e. , researchers, attorneys, consultants, judges, etc. ) are the appropriate audiences for this information, as such practitioners may have specialized interests in specific aspects of such systems. As this article is the first in a two-part article, it should be referenced for inclusion in the other part of the article. This article describes an electronic system that allows for efficient processing of cases that are ongoing, and other cases that have been previously charged. In part two of the article, the specific software tools will be described. This article provides the accreditation opportunities for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) to receive accreditation for self-study and group study on the General Accreditation Standard that is effective July 1, 1988, as well as an accreditation opportunity for group or self-study with one of the standard’s standardized curriculum on July 1, 1990.

Description: The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) is the most prestigious accrediting body for teachers of mathematics in the United States, as well as being recognized by the National Council of Teachers of Science as the accreditatory body for teachers in mathematics education for the academic year 1982-83, which was in the form of a National Accreditation Commission, and by the National Accreditation Commission for the Higher Education Accreditation Program (HECAP) for the academic year 1985-1986. The Council of Teachers of Mathematics (CTM) was created in 1974, on October 1972.

In a recent statement about the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), the President of the Council, Dr. Augustine, said, “Our Board of Accreditation recognizes the tremendous impact the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics has on our nation’s teachers of mathematics and how it has contributed positively to their professional growth and has contributed to their personal development. We are gratified that NCTM has been recognized thus far by the U. Department of Education in its efforts to secure accreditation for self-study and group study within the General Accreditation Standard (GAS), and we hope that each year we continue to fulfill the Department’s commitment and its mission with the addition of the Self-Study General Accreditation Standard (SGAS) and the Self-Study with Standard Curriculum (SWS) to enhance the education of mathematics teachers.
