Da Vinci and the Diigi 10 year celebration

Computer networking has been a major industry for over 20 years. In October 1996, the da Vinci Corporation in the United States unveiled Da Vinci’s Personal Computer. The goal of this project was to create a home computer which would rival PC’s and a true “computer within a computer”. The new system was designed for the home market and was available for purchase for $599 dollars. This was a fraction (~$25) of the $1000 cost which then was the standard for consumer home computers. This computer was designed to give users a true “personal computer within a computer”. The specifications for this computer were far superior to PC’s at the time of this computer’s introduction. The design and programming is in many cases more complex than on a standard PC.

In November 1997, Da Vinci closed on another home computer project for the US government. This computer was called, and later became the Defense Computer Enterprise Network (DCEN). The goal of this computer was to create a public computer that could be a secure, secure communications link between government agencies. This computer would replace the existing network which was used by the US government for its military forces.

In January 1998, Da Vinci purchased the company which developed Windows 95 from Microsoft. The goal of this computer was to create a consumer computer for high-performance computing applications. These computers were not intended to run mainstream computers but were to be more specialized. The windows95-based computers were expected to be affordable and be affordable to the average consumer.

In December, Da Vinci began the development of their new computer, “da Vinci 2001”, and unveiled it at the 1998 Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA. The goal of the computer was to have a home computer that could be a secure, secure communications link in between government agencies.

Tips of the Day in Computer Networking

Here is a great tool that lets us monitor the traffic from a particular IP range. It has a nice feature that you can use to see where a packet is getting sent from. This helps to pinpoint errors that you have in your network and where they are coming from.

Open a Web Browser.

Use a free sniffer.

Use a program like Fiddler or Netcat.

I know that there are several other tools that you can use and I just wanted to point to one. This tool will not get you to the root cause of problems like Fiddler or Netcat.

Most Web sites, including our own, have a unique ID for various pages to make it easier to troubleshoot and fix. When you click on these links, they open the appropriate page. There are a few problems with this technique however. There is a risk of your visitor getting confused and not clicking through.
