The grants were announced through a website on July 11 at www. These organizations, which include Historical Societies of Missouri, will receive these funds to assist them in developing new programs, which may include developing new exhibitions, producing new resources, and other programming. Applications will be accepted through July 13, 2010. The organizations will be funded according to the following criteria: The program must have a statewide component, and must be an existing program of the state historical foundation program. The program must be eligible for funding within its current state, and must be a priority in the new state. The program must have three or more full-time employees with State Historic Foundation training. The grantee must be a member of the Historic Society of Greater Kansas City, Inc. The program must be supported by a grant from the state historical foundation. The grant must be a public-private partnership, and must be for any of eight categories: Education, Education Education, Conservation, Heritage, Research, Museum, Program Development. The grantee must be a State, Federal, or District Historical Foundation, or Kansas Historic Society. The grant must have a current and continuing function. The funding will be provided as grant monies through the state historical foundation, but in accordance with the grantee’s budget. The program must be based in Missouri, but non-profit. Some examples of past programs includes: State Historic Foundation Education Initiative: This grant awards $10,000 to any Missouri organization to support the establishment of new and existing educational experiences. Program Development: This grant awards $15,000 to an organization that develops, produces, or disseminates educational materials. The organization must be a non-profit, and must be housed in or be engaged in Kansas or in Missouri. Kansas Historic Society: This grant awards $15,000 to any organization that produces an educational resource and or a website and/or provides a web-based form with tools for education and information about Kansas historic and architectural sites. These web-based tools can be used by the public to access information and research. The organization must be a non-profit, and be housed in or be engaged in Kansas.
The Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation (NSHSF) Statewide Grant Program

The Statewide Grant Program and Annual Fund are part of the Nebraska History Museums (NHSM) Statewide Grant program. This program is administered by the Department of State History.
The Statewide Grant and NEH Annual Fund programs provide grants to institutions of higher education from within Nebraska. These programs aim to support specific projects related to the state’s historical and cultural heritage. The programs are administered by the Department of State History, in cooperation with the State Archives and the Nebraska Department of Cultural Affairs.
As of January 1, 2014, the Statewide Grant Program included $541,850 in total awarded to institutions of higher education. As of March 31, 2014, the program had awarded $15,944,900 in grants. The NMSF Statewide Grant Program is administered by the Department of State History.
The NEH Annual Fund, which awards grants in support of the Nebraska Historical Bureau, is administered by the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation (NSHSF) and funded by the State Historical Society of Nebraska (SHSEN) through the Statewide Grant Program.

Tips of the Day in Programming
This week, we will be working with two different approaches to C++ language: C++-like and C-style. While C++-like has its own syntax and concepts, the concepts and syntax of C-style can be a bit hard to understand for beginners. Let us explain it in detail.
Let us start with C++-like approach. Here, everything is written in C++ language. All code is commented and it contains comments in the form of preprocessor directives. As you can see, that’s why I used preprocessor directives rather than comments directly. Preprocessor directives are the most widely used way of writing comments in C++.
