“We were honored to present the ‘SAMS Award’ to such a diverse and outstanding list of software products. The fact is, this list reflects the industry expertise and technology capabilities in software development, design, and manufacturing. We appreciate Unisys’ support and partnership in this matter. The award recipients have given us a wonderful honor.

The award is for development of software projects and products meeting a variety of requirements for both the manufacturing and retail sector. The projects are evaluated by the Software Engineering and Quality Review Committee, consisting of representatives from the Manufacturing, Commercial Banks, and Retail/Grocery Stores.

This article is available in French.

“Mise à jour du DGAP News” is published every Wednesday.

The DGAP News website is a specialised website dedicated to the development and promotion of digital and digital media resources for the DGAP. It is also an effective partner to the DGAP.

For many years I was involved in a project to develop a specialised website for the DGAP’s Software Applications Division. I had to produce an online version of this website, which also could serve as a support to the DGAP’s software development team.

The creation of this new website was a particularly interesting and challenging task, since every feature of the website had to be adapted to match the DGAP’s software development team. New pages had to be created, and new functionalities developed.

The development of the entire website had to be done in the English language, in an effort to allow the DGAP’s software development team to use this website as a platform to reach out to DGAP members, and to develop our online help service accordingly.

I was a member of DGAP France since the late 90s, and had worked on at least one page of the website ever since the beginning of the DGAP’s software development project.

The Software Applications Division of the DGAP is made up of three main sections, namely Software Applications Support, Development and Testing.

The Software Application Support section is responsible for the development of software in the form of modules (tasks of a computer program) for the DGAP’s software application products. This section has a wide range of products, from web applications (tasks of a real-world piece of software) to complex systems (such as a video-game program).

The Software Application Development section is responsible for the development of software, mainly in the form of modules, for all DGAP products, with the exception of the Software Applications Support section.

These software modules are developed by the DGAP Software Application Development Section.

Distribution Services DGAP is an advanced technology that solves the distribution industry’s distribution automation problems. For more than a decade, DGAP has been the leading tool for distribution automation for the German economy. DGAP automates distribution management processes through a modern, easy-to-use, and open, software-based distribution system based on an open source control framework, with the goal of simplifying distribution management and increasing service quality. DGAP’s user interface is based on a single unified graphical user interface (GUI). It is fully web-based, has an intuitive and modular workflow, and is scalable. DGAP can be integrated as a plug-in into most distribution automation systems.

The system, as part of its German development, is based on the latest version of the Open Distributed Architecture, which is a software platform, developed by the German government. This provides a comprehensive technical solution for the distribution industry and the Federal Ministry of Education, Research, and Innovation. The distribution automation system is based on DGAP and the Open Distributed Architecture. The system can be accessed on the web without any installation effort. Only a relatively short installation and configuration time is required for the installation of DGAP to DGAP, the distribution automation system is fully compatible with other distribution automation platforms. As a result, an integration is possible into many distribution automation frameworks, such as Open Source Distribution Platforms (OSSDP).

The development team of DGAP works with a number of German state entities and federal ministries and represents their ideas and demands directly with the German government. By working together with our partner companies, we are able to create an innovative and cutting-edge distribution automation system. Tips of the Day in Software

1) Never use ‘delete’ as a verb as it is reserved and should be used with caution. There are dozens of cases where you will not be able to delete a document in the future.

2) When naming a list item in a list, add a word (such as ‘Add’) at the beginning. When you add items to a list, you cannot rename them.

3) When using the Edit Tab, there are three tabs for adding a text document to your library by right-clicking on the document and choosing Add: New in the New menu.
