Razer Naga – A Gaming PC With a GeForce GTX 1060 Graphics Card
The Razer Naga might look like a large black computer with a huge face, but it is nothing compared to the potential. Razer, the world’s leading manufacturer of gaming hardware, is announcing on Thursday that it will spend a whopping $31 million on a new Naga — a gaming PC powered by a high-performance GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card.
“We’ve got a lot of exciting things coming out in the next six months,” said Jason Rubin, head of Razer’s gaming division. “We’re looking forward to bringing the Naga to a crowded landscape of gamers, as well as gamers at home.
The Naga is slated to begin shipping this summer and is being made available to a select few — including Razer fans who will receive a special “Naga Edition” Razer gaming desktop.
Razer first introduced the Naga in April 2018 with the announcement that the company is working on a new, custom form factor gaming PC called Naga Edition. Razer said it received more than 800 pre-orders for Naga Edition and that 80 percent of those buyers have already received their Naga Edition.
The Naga was originally introduced as a $99 a month, non-subscription plan computer. From the Naga’s launch until March 2019, the company had six versions of the Naga. These included a $99 desktop, a $149 desktop, a $199 game-ready laptop, a $299 desktop, a $799 gaming laptop, and a $999 gaming laptop.
Razer has since discontinued the Naga in January 2019 while it was struggling to keep growing. However, that could soon change, according to Rubin.
“Razer’s sales performance has been impacted. In the past, we would see sales grow over time, but not this rapid pace. That’s a bit concerning,” Rubin said. “We do have a lot more to do than we ever have.
Razer is looking to take the PC gaming market by storm this year by introducing a PC equipped with a GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card using its Naga.

This is an additional two billion people by 2030. In the developing world, 30 percent of the population has no access to clean drinking water. Almost 90 percent of the population in developing and less developed countries lives below the poverty line. A report produced by the World Bank and Unicef in 2007 states that the “developing” world is in the “bottom 40 percent” of countries according to the World Bank’s Millennium Development Goals.
This report found that “half the world’s population – over 2 billion people – lacks basic sanitation and water, one-fourth lacks electricity, and even three-fourths of the world’s population lacks safe drinking water.
MENA: A multi-media content partner of choice
The MENA region is poised to dominate the Internet’s future, with the top two providers, Facebook (FB) and Google (GOOG), in the Arabian Gulf ready to expand overseas. This region, however, is one that requires an effort to ensure that the service providers deliver to its people a quality platform that can deliver the kinds of personal media and information services that they value.
That’s the conclusion of a new report from CNET News, “The MENA: A multi-media content partner of choice,” that examines the MENA region’s potential growth in the coming years, particularly in the area of Internet services.
The report’s findings are based on interviews, surveys, and analysis of market activity and policies, including both the MENA region’s leading providers and the regional ISPs. It concludes that the MENA region’s most likely broadband provider is an international carrier — likely one that does not already have a presence overseas — with three options being considered: a European-based solution, or a direct-to-home fiber connection from Canada, Latin America, or the Far East.
