Parkers Chapel and Junction City captured 2A state championships in 2018 and 2019

This week, they open up a new path into the state tournament: play in the first round as the No. 2 seed in the Division II D1 bracket.
If it didn’t have to be a first-round matchup, the No. 2 seed would be considered the No. 9 seed in the state (this year’s No. 9 seed is the top team in the Division II bracket).
However, if it’s a first-round matchup, the No. 2 seed is the No. 5 seed in the state (this year’s No. 5 seed is the top team in the Division II bracket).
8 seed in the Division I bracket is still the top seed in the state.
So who should be the No.
7: Valley Baptist (26-5) in a rematch of last year’s state title game, which went to the No.
9: South Parkers (11-11) in a rematch of a 2015 regional final, which went to the top seed.
7: Ridge View (22-5) in a rematch of 2017 regional final, which went to the No.
Mary’s (18-9) in a rematch of 2015 regional final, which went to the No.
5: South Parkers (11-11) in a rematch of 2015 regional final, which went to the No.

If you’ve ever traveled, you’ve likely had to listen to someone who’s had health problems due to a broken leg or other condition, or you’ve heard someone say that a family member has had a serious health issue that’s just kept them up at night. People on their worst days, when they’re most likely to feel overwhelmed, are often the most depressed. For many of us who have a busy, stress filled work schedule, finding the time to do things like take care of a loved one, take care of yourself, or find the time to go to the doctor, things might get in the way of getting things done that are important to our mental health. This is something that’s often a difficult balance to find, so when someone tells you that they don’t have the time to get to the doctor, go to the grocery store, do laundry, clean their house…you have to ask a couple questions.
Can you still manage to get to the doctor when you’re in the throes of a health issue? If you could, do you? If you could, do you have the financial wherewithal to pay for it? For many of us, it isn’t a choice that we have made, and we might not even know that it’s a choice that we have made.
It’s not always easy to talk with a person who is in pain, and the first step to finding the right doctor for you is to find someone whose profession you can relate to. Some people are really happy to discuss their condition and share their story. They might talk with you about their health struggles. Maybe they have a friend who is also going through a health issue. Maybe they have been to the doctor and didn’t feel like they were getting a diagnosis. They might have friends who seem like they just need a friend or someone to talk with, and the friend you spoke with before might be someone you can talk to if you’d like. Some friends will ask you about your experience with the doctor, and if you’re having a hard time, they may ask you what kind of doctor it is you have, and if the doctor is a doctor you feel comfortable with.
