Microsoft Partner Community (MPC) is getting the Industry Cloud, and they’re not alone in that mission. The latest news about MPC is that the company is making the move to a cloud based approach, and in terms of how that will work, the company does not have any further information on that. For now, I don’t think that I can say more.

However, back in 2010, Microsoft announced that MPC would be going through a transition to the Windows Azure Infrastructure platform in order to gain the Cloud industry experience. Since then, the company has only announced a partnership with Amazon to offer online training and courses for the company’s online courses of MPC. Microsoft says that all MPC courses are 100% online, and that MPC does not have any live classroom sessions.

Recently, a post written by Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President, Don Butler, was made on the company’s Partner Community Blog, and he mentioned that Microsoft has been working on the concept of Cloud Infrastructure since 2009.

The PC (and other) industry is undergoing another revolution, and as a result, we believe we need to update to cloud-based computing. There are a number of factors that have influenced that change, including increased interest in both Cloud technology and the business applications and services that will be available in the coming years.

Since then, the blog post has now been deleted without any further information about the exact nature of that update. At the time, I was expecting it to be something that would be announced that would give a real explanation as to Microsoft’s Cloud updates.

But, now more information has come out that I believe could explain some of the real reason behind the update. Microsoft was originally testing the approach that they have been using with MPC. Microsoft said that they are going to make use of the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model, something that I am sure we have seen before with other solutions and applications.

As I mentioned in my post about the Microsoft Inspire Summit 2018, I’ve always been a big fan of Network Security. In the past couple of years, my interests have expanded to include a number of other technologies within the data center space, which I will define as “The Internet of Things,”. In that post I covered a ton of different topics including IoT security. I’m sure some of you are familiar with some of these things but I wanted to cover a few more and I’d like to share a couple of these with you.

The first one is Network Security which is the most widely spoken topic in security within a data center. Here I’ll cover the top 3 topics in Network Security, but as I talk about these topics I do believe it is important to first consider what network security is not.

There is a ton of work to be done around devices that communicate over the “Internet of Things”. In my opinion they are the next step in the Internet of Everything. They are devices that are constantly communicating with each other and with people even with no user-facing sensors and buttons. This type of device is called an “Internet of Everything” (IoE) device, but these devices are not IoT devices, as they cannot communicate over the Internet of Things.

You will not see this type of IoT device listed as IoT devices, but they are critical in the current cyber-security landscape, security by obscurity, because most IoT devices cannot communicate with the Internet of Things, and thus are not affected by this type of security. Security by obscurity or securocracy are not the same as security and security in a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environment, in my opinion. The difference is that you will now have devices outside of your data center that are connected to the Internet, but you will not be concerned about the data they communicate over the Internet. For example, all of the devices in my office that connect to the internet will be Internet of Things, but they are all devices with no Internet connectivity.

Microsoft is doing things right — even though many developers in the community seem to be disappointed with some of the news the company has released.

The Windows Server 2012 R2 product release is a major announcement that Microsoft is releasing with several changes to Windows Server 2012 R2, including the ability for Windows Server 2012 R2 to be used on any Windows server without requiring a server license.

Many people have praised the changes that Microsoft is making with the release of Windows Server 2012 R2. However, not everyone is pleased. The developer community took to Reddit to voice their opinion, and they’re not happy about the Microsoft updates either.

Reddit user “l0c” is asking Microsoft to reconsider moving the service pack 3 to the Windows Server 2012 Family instead of the Windows Server 2012 R2 product release.

“The service pack 3 is now only available in the 2. 1 build of Windows Server 2012 R2,” Larry Collins, the project manager for Windows Server Update Services, wrote in an e-mail.

The e-mail was addressed to Microsoft management, and was first published on the Microsoft Build Blog.

“If the service pack 3 is going to be available as part of the product release, please reconsider a move to the product release for Windows Server 2012 R2. It would be easy to make the move only available during the Windows Server 2012 Family OS installation but this would be confusing to IT and developers. Some may think it is a great idea for Windows Server 2012 R2 but don’t want to wait a year after a new release to move to the existing product release.

Aerospike Accelerate Partner Program –

The Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem is now more than a decade old, and it’s quickly becoming the basis for new business models. From remote sensor monitoring to intelligent cars and medical devices, IoT projects are bringing billions of dollars of revenue to the enterprise. However, new regulations will play a significant role, by restricting how enterprises can access these critical pieces of data and processes, and limiting the ability for even the most technologically advanced devices to connect to the internet in the first place.

We recently had the opportunity to speak with Brian Molnar, Product Manager of Aerospike, the Cloud-native Storage Provider for the Aerospike Accelerate Partner Program. Aerospike’s Accelerate Partner Program is a multi-industry program targeting Cloud Storage providers with an Internet-facing storage solution. The program is designed to help enterprises gain access to the storage and network resources needed to run modern storage solutions on the cloud.

Today’s storage industry is facing massive pressure from new technology, such as the advent of containers and virtualization, as well as from the increasing emphasis upon cloud computing as a business model. The challenges faced by storage providers include data security, governance, compliance, performance and scalability.

The security requirements of the storage industry will have an even bigger impact on new enterprise storage requirements than they have in the past. Increasingly, more and more companies are moving storage from on-premises to the cloud. This will also drive more storage workloads onto the cloud, and new security concerns will play a big role. From the start, storage customers have been more concerned with the security of their applications than the data. That is no longer the case. Storage deployments will increasingly become applications, and the customer is now in charge of the security of their applications, not just how their data is handled.

It is no longer possible to simply buy an application, and hope that someone decides to upgrade it so that it can continue uninterrupted without interruption of service. Storage will increasingly become a service, and the service provider will have less of a role in the security of the applications running on their storage.

Tips of the Day in Network Security

The most important takeaway for me with all of the discussions this week was how important it was to think about vulnerability awareness in security. This means monitoring vulnerabilities for potential threats – not just scanning for vulnerabilities.

All of the discussion this week about the importance of vulnerability awareness comes down to why this concept is particularly important in security.
