Subj: JustGrants: Just giving Grants to manage Justice Department Grants | Software. Article Full Text: I have been working on a new version of JustGrants for a little while now to get things moving. I have added a few more features. Some of the basic ones I think are working. The best one is the ability to add/edit a new “Grant” on a “Project” in the “View” menu. This basically allows you to edit a standard, normal grant to create a custom, high-level Grant that can be assigned to the User using the “Assign” button. I just need to add a few small things (like user creation, user assignment, etc) and I guess I should be able to start working on the user interface/presentation. The new user creation is working. It does not allow you to overwrite the first user, only create a new one. So, one of the more complicated features is the ability to assign “Grant Users” on a “Project” to be assigned to a user on another project. This is actually possible right now. I think that the “Assign” and “Assign” buttons are working, but the “Select Users” button for that user creation only displays the user name, not an actual user. Also, the “Select Users” button for assigning all users on a project only displays the project name, not the users. But I have no idea of where I am really going wrong. Perhaps the views are bad? Maybe the new user creation works with the existing projects, but the changes to the user creation do not? If so, I guess I will have to work on the views to figure out where the problem is. It is not a big deal though. You just click the appropriate button to create a new Grant or assign this Grant to the user. Now you have the user on the project.
