As the old saying goes, there are many rules but one, though, has never been updated: the rule book. The rules, well, how they are written. The rules, how they work. The rules, how they are interpreted. And the rules, how they are enforced.
This past week, there was a new rule book that appeared and, in fact, took the place of a dozen old ones. All of them are the wrong way around.

In my opinion, rule books are the place that the rules come from. They represent the interpretation of the rules. Some of the rules are written in code. Some of them in what is called an “administrative source”. The source of the rules, the rules are written in. The admin source is different. The admin source is part of the computer.

A new version of the CPU has recently arrived and people love to install it for power upgrades or some other reason. The new CPU has 4. 2GHz Quad-Core AMD FX-8350 with HyperThreading for a maximum of 3+10 physical cores. It’s a strong CPU with plenty of RAM and it consumes only around 85 Watts which is quite reasonable for what it is. The new CPU also supports overclocking of up to 3+10 physical cores and offers support for 8-way power saving modes.
The CPU is available in 4 different flavours (4C, 6C, 8C, 12C) and it works with several different motherboards. The main difference between the different CPU’s is the support for different socket configurations (Socket X, Z, 8, 10E, 10F, 10H), different BIOS settings and power management schemes.
The CPU supports a wide variety of BIOS and the number of available socket versions varies a lot as well. It is possible to have a 16-way and 32-way power saving mode as long as the motherboards support it.
