Johnson City Chamber of Commerce is announcing the upcoming plans that will add a beautiful new facility on the corner of H. Smith and Johnson Ave. The new building will be named, The Bicentennial State Building (BIC) and will include a theater, a ballroom, banquet hall, conference rooms, meeting rooms, retail and public areas, and an event center.

The new building would help grow the economy of our beautiful city by adding to the vibrant retail stores coming to the area and creating jobs. The new building will be a great addition to both the shopping and entertainment areas of the city, providing residents and visitors with a great place to shop and enjoy the arts, music and the outdoors.

The Johnson City Chamber is an independent non-profit organization. The Chamber’s mission is to develop a high-quality community that fosters the arts and celebrates the city’s heritage, with an emphasis on the arts in support of tourism in our unique setting.

The Johnson City Chamber will hold a public open house on September 4, 2018 from 4-8pm.

A new, second level commercial building is proposed for the southwest corner of Main and Elm Streets, north of East Main Street, in Johnson City, Tennessee. The site, bounded on the north by the East Main Street-East Market Street road intersection, is immediately to the east of what has been proposed for The First Horizon Bank, at the northeast corner of what used to be Main and Elm Street. The site is immediately to the east of a proposed new commercial building located at the southwest corner of Main and East Elm Streets, and to the north of a proposed new commercial building located at the southwest corner of East Main and East Elm Streets, located at the southwest corner of Main and East Market Streets.

The Planning Commission adopted the preliminary plan and description for the Johnson City, Tennessee, site for a new First Horizon Bank at the southwest corner of the East Main and East Elm Streets intersection.

The site consists of a former First Horizon Bank building on the northeast corner of East Main and East Elm Streets.

The building currently contains offices and space for First Horizon Bank’s executive, legal, and accounting offices. It is adjacent to the existing First Horizon Bank building on the northwest corner of the East Main and East Elm Streets intersection.

A First Horizon Bank is proposing a second level commercial building at the southwest corner of the East Main and Elm Streets intersection. The building currently contains offices for First Horizon Bank, a restaurant, a store, a meeting space for First Horizon Bank and the City Council, and a hotel suite. The building is a three-story, rectangular building, with a concrete frame, with a basement and an attic structure above. The floor plan of the building is square with two-story windows on all sides of the building. The basement contains two loading docks for the building located on the northeast and southwest corner, on the east and west sides, and on the southwest. A covered area under the loading docks houses a kitchen, storage, a conference room, and a restrooms. The building also contains parking for one or two cars in either the northeast lot or the southwest lot, depending upon the specific plans.

A newly constructed, two-story, 7-foot wide, steel structure by Johnson City, Missouri, built for the construction of an integrated transit system, is now set to break ground. The new building will be a major landmark in an area that’s rapidly changing as development in the area expands and the population increases.

It will be one of only four bridges at the intersection of Missouri State Highway 19 and Missouri Highway 48 to be constructed, and it will be the only bridge over the former US Highway 69 bridge north of Interstate 70 and south of the former US Highway 65 bridge. The bridge will serve as the first and only connection between the Missouri City/Kansas City, Missouri urban and rural areas.

When completed, it will be the first bridge of any sort between these areas, and will be located at the point where the two highways cross over the Missouri River. As the Interstate 70 Bridge is located at approximately 1,000 feet above the river, it is the only bridge east of the Mississippi River serving the Missouri City/Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area.

The bridge is funded by Johnson City and Missouri City, and is being built by the City of Johnson City, through Public Works and Transportation, Inc. It will also be funded through a combination of federal and state funds. When complete, it will have a total travel lane capacity of 5,300 vehicles per day, an average length of nearly 16. 9 miles, and will be the only bridge in the metropolitan area which is still maintained by Missouri City.

The total cost of the bridge’s construction, which will be $3,375,000, is approximately $3. 5 million for the Missouri City/Johnson City project, $1,750,000 for the Federal Highway Administration, $1,450,000 for the Missouri Department of Transportation, and $750,000 for Missouri City.

For the first time in the history of the Interstate 35 bridge, a span of the interstate is being constructed. The bridge was originally built at a cost of $24 million.
