If you are running Microsoft Windows and your Windows update is stuck on the update screen after a couple of minutes of waiting, here’s what you need to know.

When you receive a Windows update from Microsoft, you can go to the Windows Update page on Microsoft Update to manually update your computer. Click on the update icon in the taskbar and select “Windows Update” from the pop-up menu. This will automatically download an update to your system. In most cases, however, Microsoft offers a tool called the Windows Update Agent, which is available in the Internet search engine to manually update a computer.

Windows Update is a software that provides the ability to download and install software to your computer. If the update is stuck, it can take several hours to download the update and install it on your computer.

When you receive a “Windows update” message from Microsoft, you can go to the Windows Update page on Microsoft Update to manually update your computer. Click on the update icon in the taskbar and select “Windows Update” from the pop-up menu. This will automatically download an update to your system.

As described above, to check if your Windows update is stuck or if the update is already installed, click on the link “Windows Update” in the Windows Update pop-up menu. If it looks like the update is already installed, you won’t be able to download the update manually from Microsoft, as the Windows Update Agent will not let you do so. The Windows Update Agent will automatically install the update with a pop-up dialog that looks like other Microsoft programs. On your Windows desktop, you might see a message saying “Installing Windows Update for Windows X” or similar.

When you have downloaded the update and opened it, it might take a few moments for the update to start installing. Once it is done installing, you can see the new software on your Windows desktop or in your Start menu.

Getting a Windows 10 Update is Staggered

(January 11, 2017) – I’ve talked with several Windows 10 users who are very unhappy with Microsoft’s staggered update schedule, and most of them believe that they’ll be forced to go through the update process one-by-one and then manually patch Windows 10 systems. They don’t see the need to get it from their computer manufacturer, or from a Microsoft-approved provider, because they’re not going to get the update as a “one-off” or “self-contained” update, and because these “patches” won’t be installed while Windows is locked.

Microsoft has previously said that Windows 10 is only one year old at this point, and that Microsoft is “actively working” to get the update as soon as possible.

In the current Windows 10 release, Microsoft is asking users to upgrade to Windows 10 version 1709 “before end of September 2017.

I’ve talked to several Microsoft employees who have been telling me that if you’re a Windows 10 user, you’re going to have to manually install these “patches” by yourself and you’re going to have to go through this one-by-one and then manually patch your Windows 10 computer by using special tools which are available only for Microsoft-approved vendors.

There is no way that Windows 10 will be ready for mass release in September 2017 like Microsoft claims. Instead, it will begin rolling out gradually by May 2018, and it will take six to eight months to get everything ready.

Microsoft has previously said that if the scheduled Windows 10 roll-out was staggered, we would need to wait one month to get the update as a new Windows 10 version update, and the users would need to manually patch their Windows 10 operating systems.

But the reality is that if we are going to have a staggered rollout, we need to get this update as an update “for existing systems” and it doesn’t make sense to do that if Microsoft is asking us to upgrade to a new (newest) version of Windows 10 each month.
