The story: the Epicor software from Epicsoft that powers Mac OS X and iOS is a complete mess. It may claim to have an open-source license. But it comes with a host of non-compliance issues, including a long list of problems with what is officially “Apple” software at all. This includes the fact that the program runs on 10. 5 on a Mac that came from a clone of the original Apple Macintosh. It also comes with a host of issues from a host of different sources and with varying degrees of quality. The most serious, however, comes from the fact that Epicor’s own website claims to be able to run on newer Macs, the latest iPhones and the latest iPads. But it doesn’t work there at all: the program simply does not even compile correctly on either of them. There were some really good discussions on HN, but a lot of people thought my comment on one or more of the more prominent issues and how to fix it was the most important comment of the post.

I’ve known for quite a long time that Apple’s OS X and iOS are actually pretty hard to work with, and that there are a lot of non-Apple issues (or issues that are Apple-focused), and issues that were not really Apple-focussed. Some of these issues are fairly serious ones. But still, many new Macs with the newer 11. 6 versions (and possibly newer, as in the upcoming 12. 1) run great and fine.

The issue at hand is in Apple’s own version of the software that powers the Macs that Apple used or clones of the original Apple Macs. The Mac OS X and iOS products of Epicor Software Corporation, a Swedish-based company that makes the programs, are actually in the same company as the Apple Macs that Apple uses today. So Epicor Software had an open-source license from what I understand is either a European or American company. The license allows Epicor to use the software on Apple Macs or similar machines. But this is a lot of code that does not work on anything from Apple. Or it works great. But it does not work correctly.

In other words, the Apple Macs themselves are a bunch of dead ends.

This article does not intend to compete with the HPI or compete with the company. We will only make a comparison between the new technologies that the HPI has integrated to increase the efficiency of the company and the technologies that the companies are competing with such as Google and Amazon.

Java is good, it’s a good language, it has certain strengths (e. , being a strong exception-oriented language). But it’s not a great language. Even when you get your hands on some well-written C++ code, you’re not going to get Java-like code. It’s just not the same.

The customer starts speaking in Java and in C++ about language design. Then he goes with Java (or as he called it, “C++”) because he thinks that the language is better at what he needs.
