The Chickamauga Chapter of the DAR held its 8th Annual National Convention in Fort Benning, GA on November 13, 2013. The program for the convention included a variety of topics and special events. After the event, Chickamauga Chapter President David F. Jones took the stage to talk to the hundreds of members gathered and shared news of the chapter’s upcoming activities. Jones was joined by the chapter chair, Dwayne Alexander.

Dwayne Alexander: I just want to thank you for setting up the DAR.

Jones: And thank you very much to all of our chapter members for coming out to support our chapter. I have been doing the rounds in the various cities all over the country. To go with the other DAR speakers, it really is a pleasure for me to bring to you the good news.

Jones: First of all, thank you to all of the DAR chapter presidents. I think it is always great to see you all come out and be with your chapter to support the chapter. I just want to say that everybody is doing just great. I had some members of my chapter come out the first year, and even the past year, the chapter was doing great. I think that has all changed for the better.

Jones: I think that is because we have been able to have more time to get things done. I just want to tell you I think many of you have made yourselves better, because it has been such an awesome experience for us to have the president of the chapter come out and share the chapter’s news. I want to tell you that they are doing great and helping out all the chapters.

Jones: The second thing that I wanted to share with you is that when I was asked to come to the chapter to speak, I was not really looking for anything other than to talk about our chapter and get people’s support for us. So without any other announcement, I think I have been able to do that.

Jones: What I wanted to tell you the first was that our chapter is doing just terrifically.

Article Title: Daughters of the American Revolution online | Programming. Full Article Text: The Daughters of the American Revolution were founded in 1881 in New York City by women who had grown up in the radical abolitionist movement in the 1830s, and who were all young, white women with radical beliefs who felt disenfranchised in their homes. They were very concerned about the power disparities of their homes, about their own and of their families’ place in society. They came together to form a group that would advocate for equality. The organization would eventually include a variety of people and groups, and their influence and membership continued to grow. Their influence spread outward to the general public, and their message to the public was that equal rights are to be found. They became a major player in the struggle for women’s and African American rights that was taking place in the first decades after the Civil War and would change the way the United States looked at women’s rights. They were instrumental in bringing about the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which made African Americans, women of color, the first citizens of the American Republic. Their influence also led to the suffrage movement, and it is estimated that the Daughters of the American Revolution helped bring about the first successful women’s rights campaign. In the 19th century, many of the Daughters’ members and leaders were involved in the radical feminist movement, and the Daughters of the American Revolution remained a major force of the women’s rights movement. Their activism and influence continued into the 20th century and even into the 21st century as they joined with others in the fight to combat racism in America and to advance equality in all spheres of American society.

The Daughters of the American Revolution work as a women’s rights group with their aim to encourage and protect the rights and equality of women and their families in America.

They meet at the home of each member, and they work on projects they both take part in, and they also participate in activities that help women and girls around the world.

The Daughters of the American Revolution believes that women need to be encouraged to grow up free and independent, that women have their own values and beliefs, and that all women should be given the same opportunities as men in society.

This essay is one in a series of ongoing articles on the Constitution Hall Restoration.

The Constitution’s original intent was to restore and preserve a historic building in the heart of downtown Dar es Salaam. The design principles used in the restoration had been used in other places, and had been a major asset to the city. It also demonstrated the intent of the original designers to preserve the integrity and original function of the building; however, the new design and implementation failed to fulfill that purpose.

One of the first projects created by The Dar Constitution Hall Restoration Committee was the restoration of the constitution hall. The restoration project was originally called the ‘Constitution Hall Restoration’ and was to be completed by 2008.
