In this research paper, we have explored various critical issues in Sage enterprise management software based on the review of the latest developments around the industry. These are discussed under various segments of the software such as Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Furthermore, we have reviewed various other critical issues and how they are addressed by the respective authors. The purpose of the research is to give importance to the reviews that are done in the software industry. Furthermore, we have also provided an insight into the state and the research that is being done in the subject. In order to bring forth the latest developments, we have done an extensive review of the related open-source projects which are being created. Most of the software projects that are being created are being managed and developed by Sage X3 Enterprises Corporation. Consequently, the software development workstations are being connected with the Enterprise Management Solution (EMS). The research paper has also given a comprehensive understanding into the latest developments in the subject. The goal of this paper is to share our insights with the current and future managers, and in this context, the software should be used with good design and appropriate features for it to be effective.

Full Article Text: A full-text searchable index of all X3 products and their components and related products and systems is maintained. Based upon the content of this site, readers can create their own unique searches. This site includes a searchable database for the entire Sage X3 product line, including all software versions and upgrades as well as the Sage X3 Enterprise Resource Planning product. This database is maintained in two ways: in an archive system maintained on the Sage website and a searchable index maintained on the Sage X3 product website. The archive is composed of more than 10,000 product pages which the majority of articles in this site are archived. The archive system has been archived and updated since November 2007. Searchable index of X3 products and related systems and components was created on the X3 products website in order to have a consistent means of searching this database for existing and future X3 users. Searchable indices have been created from the earliest version of X3 to its most current version. The searchable indexes were created in 2003, as part of the Sage X3 product website. The content of the index is the result of hundreds of hours of research and testing by Sage X3 product users. Most of the searchable index is made up of product pages. The rest of the index is comprised of a large number of component pages which relate to product pages. This is, in part, the result of research and testing by X3 users. The content of the index is not part of the product but is for archival purposes and is for new users to discover X3 products without requiring access to a full product. Many of the product pages which are included in the searchable index contain links back to their source product pages. This has been done in order to give existing customers a sense of what is contained in the X3 product. Since the searchable X3 index is an external archive, products and upgrades to existing products may be found that are included in the searchable index. The searchable index includes the full text of each product page and the text of each component page. Thus, products and components that are not part of the searchable index can be searched. This makes it possible to search for a product that was not part of the searchable index, for example, products which were not created by a Sage X3 user.

We recently discovered that a critical vulnerability exists in the package sgtex3-1. 0 and that the package sgtex3-0. 5 contains the same vulnerability. We notified Sage for this vulnerability as well as for a second critical security weakness involving Sage X3. We were unable to use sgtex3-1. 0 to install Sage X3 on AWS due to the vulnerability but we have now discovered another vulnerability in sgtex3-0. 5 that can lead to the same result.
Sage X3 is a commercial, open source software package to run Sage data science tools via the cloud. This post explains how to install Sage X3 on AWS using CloudFormation and which other commercial, open source software packages we currently have that provide similar functionality.
The following vulnerability exists in the package sgtex3-1. 0 that can lead to a disclosure of all or portions of Sage X3 for sale on the Amazon Marketplace. This vulnerability was discovered by Ryan Chappey, who notified the Sage Community on behalf of the Sage Security Team.

Following are the packages affected by CVE-2020-7387. These packages are all open source packages.
We have found that these packages are being used on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including CloudFormation templates, in Sage X3 and Sage.
SGEXERT packages are deployed on Amazon EC2 instances. The packages can be installed on the following EC2 instances.
