AMD Ryzen’s latest processor, Ryzen 9 5900HX, is a major departure from the Zenbook 15’s predecessor, the Zenbook 15 A6-6970K. The most obvious change is that the new chip’s processor cores and cores are all quad-core, while the chipset’s cores remain single-core. As a result, Zenbook 15 has a quad-core CPU and a quad-core GPU, with the CPUs running up to four threads per core (with some exceptions).

There will also be more performance per watt than in the previous Zenbook 15, thanks to Ryzen 9’s increased performance per watt (MPW), as well as the integrated Radeon Vega 56 GPU with up to 3. 9 terabits/second (Tbps) of GPU clock speed. For that reason, the Zenbook 15’s previous GPU, which was a Radeon RX Vega 56, was dropped in favor of the more efficient Vega 56 GPU.

For the rest of this article, we will focus our attention on the new Zenbook 15, an upgrade over the Zenbook 15 A6-6970K.

While the new Zenbook 15 will support two models of Ryzen CPU, the company has introduced only one model of Ryzen CPU for the Zenbook 15. The Ryzen 7 1700X is available for the Zenbook 15, as well as for the Ryzen 7 1700 and the Ryzen 7 1700X. The Ryzen 7 1700X uses the SAND7776 CPU core with the ROPS3. 0 specification, which is the same as the A6-6970K. The Ryzen 5 1600X also uses the same core with the ROPS3. 0, but has a slightly different memory controller.

We will focus our attention on the Zenbook 15’s new AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processors, and the new 4K display of the Zenbook 15 OLED.
