“It’s Not About You, It’s About Everyone” In response to the attacks on his website, we discuss the “Internet of Everything” and its implications for information security and internet privacy. In particular, we look at the potential for “social networking” (socially engineered and manipulated social sharing) as a technique for distributing malware, and at security solutions that protect this type of malicious activity.

Introduction In the near future, we will have an Internet of everything, using whatever devices we wish. As our devices become more advanced, powerful, and connected to the Internet, so will the ways in which we use them.

We already see an increasing number of products that attempt to take advantage of this. The range of offerings includes the use of smart phones to store any information we want to access on the go, and devices which record our every movement, including our facial features. In my last speech to the EU I described how Google’s Glass could become an important device for law and privacy enforcement, and the potential for an “Internet of Everything” to be created.

When I spoke of that, I was thinking of an “Internet of Everything or the smart phone” that I had seen a series of products that seemed to be going towards in the next year. In doing so I didn’t mean ‘the smart phones’ should become the ‘Internet of Everything’. My interest is in the ‘IoE’ (Internet of things) more specifically: “Everything and everywhere”, “the cloud”, the “Internet of Everything”. (This has become the “Internet of everything”, or the “everything and everywhere”, and I’m hoping that this is not an oversimplification of the concept. It implies many things, including the “digital”, but there is no mention of a device as a specific entity that is in itself digital, or that it is separate from the machine we may encounter in the “smart phones”. ) I’m not talking about a “smart phone” that is smart and connected over the internet.

Tips of the Day in Network Security

Today it’s Network Solutions’ turn to introduce you to two excellent cloud-based security services. These services are available from an unlimited number of providers, but many of the links below lead through to the providers’ websites.

The first is Vornado, which provides cloud web hosting, security, and an extensive suite of security and control tools. Vornado charges the same as any other online host, but it’s so much more valuable as part of the security infrastructure. It’s a great solution that should cost considerably less than traditional shared hosting, and it does not require you to sign up for a long-term contract.

The second company we’ll introduce you to today is Veracode, which provides a wide range of cloud security offerings. These include web hosting (free and premium), security, data encryption, and a whole host of control tools and technologies. You can read more about Veracode’s services here.

Security is an important part of any IT infrastructure: A good server, a good network, and a secure environment can all be just as important as anything else.
