Last week’s update brought us a bunch of new additions to the base-building mod scene. For those who are unfamiliar with it, we’ll go over the basics first.

The base-building community, as it’s come to be known, is a huge one. The amount of content and modding tools available to anyone can be overwhelming, but the community isn’t just about finding tools, either. It’s also about helping each other out – getting advice, advice, advice. It’s all about figuring out new ways to make and build your base that will work for you.

The best part of the modding community is that many of its members are also players. They enjoy what the base-building mod community is trying to do – the variety of ways people can make it better for themselves. They’re always looking for ways to make their mod better and faster than the alternative. We often find ourselves asking ourselves: ‘Should I build a roadblock, or a fort? Where I’m stuck? Are there other options I didn’t consider?’ And you have to respect that. One of the best parts about the base-building modding community is that we have a very large network of players and users that really do help each other improve their builds. This can be both good (when you’re stuck, or when you come in from the outside and need help) and bad. Some of the best advice comes from other players and users, because they too feel the same frustrations as you.

As you likely noticed in the last update, the first round of beta and release updates (available on our forums, YouTube, and/or game website) went live across all platforms.

These updates will update the base-building community as well as new DLC to the game. One of the major changes this time around is that these updates are going to be delivered by third-party publishers as opposed to our own.

No Man’s Sky is a new creation of Valve Studios, and in a small way, is a precursor to the full fledged PC title called Team Fortress 2. Players will compete with each other to be the first to achieve “the highest score,” a reference to the competitive aspect of the game, where players compete against each other to complete a set of tasks.

The game is one of the first to support the new Unity-powered client game engine. The idea of a game with a strong “social aspect,” is still something that No Man’s Sky attempts to incorporate. No Man’s Sky will be a multiplayer-only game, making it an odd fit for a game where players compete to succeed but do so in the face of a shared objective.

The game is developed by Valve Studios, and was first shown off at Microsoft’s E3 conference in June. The game is being developed by indie studio Niantic Labs, which is developing the new Unity-powered game engine used by No Man’s Sky.

No Man’s Sky is being developed for SteamOS, the OS from Valve that is the company’s preferred OS for development. SteamOS is running a completely new version of Google’s Android OS, the kernel, so the game can run on multiple systems at once.

Tips of the Day in Computer Games

Today’s topic is The Best Games of the Year by game developers. I hope you don’t mind that I give you a list based on what I find the best games of the year based on the most recent gaming month.

It’s always more fun to see the year’s best games out in the wild than it is to have a time-consuming process of analyzing all the best games from the last year at the end of a calendar year. And also because we are talking about the best games that have been released this month, not the year’s best games overall.

I always look forward to the year’s best games, and the best, not only because the games are good, but because I can pick out specific games that I think are best or top games for particular genres.
