I’ll give you a very brief overview of the latest technologies, and also explain what will be the difference between the two technologies that are relevant for the topic. However, I’ll do my best to be as straight to the point as possible.

About six months ago, a company called “Nemos” released two new versions of their mobile security suite. One called Nemos 2. 0, was a major update, which included the most recent security fixes by way of bug fixes, improvements and enhancements. The other one called “Nemo 3. 1” was a minor update, which only brings a few enhancements and bug fixes. Both updates were released just one week apart.

0 was released right before the annual Black Hat conference “in March, 2019” and it went to the second edition of it. 1 is also going to be a Black Hat conference next year which is in the fall. In the meantime, the latest security bug fix release of Nemos 2.

So, if you haven’t heard about it yet, just check out the video below if you want to start learning about the latest in the world of mobile app security.

As you can see, there has been a lot of movement in the market these past six months. Now, let’s look at the latest technologies and differences between the two of them.

So, what exactly is the key difference between the two of them? Well, the key difference is the difference between the security features of the mobile security suite of Nemos and Nemos 2. With Nemos, users may scan their mobile devices as they always do, and then you will have your mobile app scanned by the App Security Scanning Engine (ASSE) and all of the permissions (that you have granted in the app) and data will be visible to the end-point(s) where it is meant for. You will also be able to check if the app is running on the devices or not.

And this is how the two technologies work.

Tips of the Day in Computer Security

There is no shortage of data indicating that the WannaCry ransomware outbreak was a terrible wake-up call for IT professionals.

For example, as the virus started going out of control, there was a spike in ransomware attacks that disrupted businesses. WannaCry infected at least 130,000 computers, with some estimates as high as 500,000.

The fact that this virus came from the same group that the Stuxnet worm did in the final, crucial phase of the Iranian nuclear program, as well as the fact that the virus has been able to evade efforts to stop it via traditional security measures, speaks volumes.

The good news is that it’s getting easier to protect PCs from the threat of WannaCry.

The bad news is that it’s getting harder. Last week’s update to Windows security update KB2679200, which included updated protection against WannaCry, wasn’t enough, and many experts believe that the security community’s lackadaisical approach needs to change.
