A few months ago when the world discovered the music of Lilian Blankson, she had just reached a major milestone. Her next album had been released — it had been called “The Whole Purpose of BET Was Just To Promote Black Music”. The album, titled “Fever Dream,” featured the singles “I Only Want To Dance” and “Black & White”, both of which had been nominated for Grammy awards. The album had appeared on the Billboard Top 10 for more than three weeks. The album had even been certified platinum by the RIAA after it had been on a long commercial run. A record that would go on to become the best-selling music album of all time.
That was just the beginning. Now she’s being touted as an “inspiration” to other musicians. In a promotional video for her upcoming album “Cookie & Cream,” she’s performing on the BET stage with Beyonce. And that was only a preview. On the album, you’ll have the opportunity to see her get ready for the recording sessions backstage at a restaurant in a red shirt. You’ll be able to listen to her “fearless” rapping, just like what you’ll hear on the album. And you’ll hear what it sounds like. She’ll sound like a young Rihanna. And you’ll get to hear her at the same time. And she’ll look like the cover of the Rolling Stone interview with a white rapper.
“Cookie & Cream” is a song — a song about a girl going into a drug-induced coma. We’ll be talking about that later. The other track is a song about her brother, who, along with their mother was beaten by her father. It’s a tragic story, but it’s also a song about her brother. The lyrics are about all of it, but the way she expresses it is something she’s learned how to do on the BET stage. And she was just at the heart of it.

Lilian is the founder, owner and CEO of the FACE List Awards. She is a successful business woman who has made a name for herself through her innovative marketing and digital strategy. She has been awarded numerous times since her inception as a Face List award winner in 2015. She has a solid track of achievements across these awards as her achievements include, an overall win and three top 5 finishes in the Face List Awards category. She also has several awards to her name she had in her various categories, including being named the face of beauty in Asia as well as many international awards in the area of women empowerment.
Lilian has over 27 years of experience in the online world. She started her career in online marketing in 2000, at the age of 18 years old. Prior to taking over the CEO role, Lilian’s career included serving as a sales associate for a small internet marketing company. She made the decision to take a step in to digital marketing because of the great benefits. She then moved to China in 2010 for a short time, to assist in setting up a new marketing agency in Beijing. From there she worked in Beijing and Shanghai before moving to Hong Kong, back to Beijing in 2014 to assist in setting up a new Hong Kong company, with a team of 15 people.
Lilian left her job in Beijing and joined the Hong Kong company in 2014 and now serves as the head of the head of marketing. She works for a company called Global Digital Branding who was previously a Chinese company. In 2015, after establishing her own company, she was given the opportunity to take over the award winning face of all beauty contests and she took on the role of CEO of the Face List Awards.
The FACE List Awards was begun in 2011, which was created to promote the beauty market in China. The FACE List Awards category was established to include both beauty and fashion contests.
In the recent years, the Face List Awards has grown into a well established award. The category attracts many beauty award winners. It has been awarded several times at an international level and also to Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States.

To be honest, I was just curious. I’m not sure anyone else would have asked her, anyway, but I wanted to be the first to ask. We’ve got her in the lab, she’s got the phone, she’s not shy around me so I was thinking, why not ask.
I was interested to see that she liked to have a good conversation. She knows how to have a good conversation. It’s not something I’m particularly good at. I might have an awkward conversation with a friend or I might make an awkward conversation that leads to awkward conversations. But she has a conversation. She’s got a conversation with everyone about everything. She’s not just interested in the talk. She’s interested in how you’ve responded to what they’re saying. She’s interested in what they’re thinking about.
It’s not just because it’s a conversation in a lab. She’s had conversations in a lot of places, but she likes having conversations in a lab. Not in a conversation, but a conversation. Sometimes she’ll be talking about the things they know, and her brain takes a long time to go, “Oh yeah, I can answer that. Oh, yeah, I can answer that” and then it just goes there. It’s really just a conversation if you’re just talking about the things you know. But if you’re talking about the things you don’t know, then she’s got a conversation.
That’s why I think that she’s so successful in the lab. She’s in a position where she’s never alone. She’s never sitting in a room alone. She’s never alone. She’s always with her team. She’s always with her partners. She has a space where she can have a good conversation and not be alone. If I see her at the end of a lab and I see her in the middle of a conversation with a team member, I know she’s having a good conversation.
