Well, time’s up folks, and I’m going to move on to the stuff that I don’t understand. I was wondering if you could explain to me why we’re getting all these tvOS 15/17 Firmware Updates. It’s like this week’s Apple Watch update has the latest v20 Firmware but the tvOS apps aren’t updating.

When you launch your Apple TV, you then get to choose the default apps you want to use. These defaults are based on your Apple ID and the Apple ID that you use with ApplePay. If you use a different Apple ID, then you’ll have the choice of different apps to use. The default apps for tvOS 13 are based on your Apple ID and the Apple ID that you use with ApplePay.
If you’re not using a different Apple ID, then no apps can be selected in the Apple TV options. But if you’re using a different Apple ID, then you’re not going to be able to use your favorite apps.
