How to Fix Battery Drain Issue on OnePlus Nord

First post here. I have been reading about my battery drain issues on OnePlus 6. After using it for a while, I noticed the issue of screen not refreshing when using it for extended period of time. I was looking at the forum, and I found that there was a post on here that says that I have to change the hardware of the screen by replacing it with a higher quality display, however I am on a 3 years old device now and cannot find the recommended one.

My device is an OnePlus 6 Plus and has a 1440 x 2560 display and a Snapdragon 675.

A friend bought me a Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro and said that he did not use the display for a week. He did the same and everything still worked fine. So, I have to ask, will the OnePlus 6 be ok after being on display for a week? I am a bit scared.

I have a OnePlus 6, but I am afraid that something could go wrong with it, even after I had it off display for a week. I have a friend who has an OnePlus 7.

Thanks for all of your help.

I hope I am not sounding too impatient but this is getting ridiculous. Why would you want to use a higher quality display with a device that has a screen refresh issue, and is likely to have more issues with it. I would have thought it would be the other way around.

How did you decide which display to go with? For some reason, I suspect you used the same display on a non-displayed phone but I’m not certain.

I have a Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro with a QHD display, it’s very close to what you want for a more expensive display. The only issue with mine is screen refresh. I can’t believe you’ve owned an Android phone that has the issue. It looks incredibly weird on the eyes of these folks.

Reducing screen resolution to improve battery life

In this article I will discuss how to reduce the resolution of a PC’s monitor to help improve its battery life and performance. While there are many ways to reduce the resolution of the display, this article will focus on lowering the resolution in order to conserve power even when plugged in.

I will cover the power savings and battery life for the various resolutions of 1080p, 720p, and 480p. I will also address how to use the resolution that the display is capable of displaying when the PC is plugged in.

Reducing screen resolution can improve the efficiency and performance of a PC, and in this article I will discuss some of the practical reasons why you may begin to reduce the resolution of your PC’s monitor.

Larger screens: The smaller screen size means more pixels are available to provide the required level of color.

Performance: When you consider how much performance you are able to achieve, reducing the size of the screen can result in quicker access to the various information you need. For example, a smaller screen may allow for quicker access to e-mail and instant messaging applications as well as websites.

Conservations: A smaller screens can reduce the overall drain on the battery. Consider how much energy you can save by turning down the brightness of the display or the power settings on your PC.

Power consumption: Reducing the resolution of your PC’s display can allow you to save power. Consider how best to minimize the screen’s battery use. For example, if you use the computer off-hours the evening before you are going to be working on it, consider turning down the screen resolution even further. In addition, consider turning down the power consumption of the display.

When you use your computer in bed, turn down the screen resolution and turn it down even further.

Considered the first and most common way to reduce the resolution of your monitor, a one-click method to access information involves using the mouse to access buttons on the display.

When not in use, disable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS features.

How to turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and keep all other devices connected.

The Mac software you use for everything from email, to Internet browsing, to video playback to photo sharing or music playback, often has a feature you don’t use. You may, in fact, use this feature all the time, even if it’s not one of the most important ones. What you’re doing without it can have real, tangible consequences.

As you may have noticed, these capabilities are usually not turned off by default. That’s because it’s important to make sure you don’t have any third-party code installed that uses these capabilities. This page describes how you can turn off these capabilities.

In some cases, the capability will also turn off WiFi and Bluetooth. In those situations, you may be able to re-enable those features (when you’re sure you won’t use them again), although that may be a temporary solution. You may want to see if that’s really a good idea.

Here are additional tips when disabling these features.

If you’re using a computer that came with an Apple operating system, you’ll need to uninstall that operating system (or parts of it).

Note that, if you install new software, the operating system you installed might get installed on to your Mac. Disabling a capability might prevent that software from being updated by the computer software update program.

If you’re having trouble getting Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to work, you may have some other system software trying to use these capabilities. If that’s the case, you’ll need to uninstall that system software.

Launch Disk Utility (or the utility that came with your Mac, if you have one).

Choose your drive. If you have a multi-drive setup, you’ll need to choose the “Finder” drive.

Tips of the Day in Software

I told my audience not to get too obsessed with this question, but to come up with an approach that’s both intuitive and simple. That’s what an amazing UI does.

One of those things we used to use for this purpose is “simplicity,” which is why I used the term “sensibility” and “intuitive” so often.

It’s really easy to use.

It’s easy to learn.

It’s easy to build.

It’s easy to tweak.

It’s easy to modify.

You can build it in just about any way you have time and inclination.
