Update on the deal between Equisoft and Altus.

Article Title: Update on the deal between Equisoft and Altus | Software. Full Article Text: EqiT’s vice-president and CEO Michael Heecker has issued the following statement: “As we’ve been working on the new game that has been in development at least three years and is close to release, we’ve had to deal with multiple issues related to the development of the new game. We are going to work on the new game to ensure we deliver it on time. We will keep the team engaged throughout the entire process. ” Source link : altus-online.

In a press release released on the 27th July, the newly-announced deal between Altus and EqiT would see the latter acquiring Equi’s share in the game, and vice-versa. Altus and EqiT both have a long history of working together, and in addition to Eqi and Altus being partners in the development of this title, they’re both owned by the same family.

In addition to the acquisition of Equi’s share, the deal will also see the creation of an umbrella company, with the aforementioned new ‘EquiT’ name, taking on the additional task of managing the various assets of the title. The EqiT brand, and the additional assets of the title will not be directly traded and only be shared between various parties.

“Altus has always valued its relationship with its long-term partner. We are excited that we can combine our creative partnership with EquiT, while still maintaining our own vision for the title,” said Heecker.

The EquiT brand represents “a powerful new platform for us to further develop into the most powerful global entertainment platform the world has ever seen.

It’s a bit of a departure from the past, where development had been done exclusively by companies such as Eidos-Montague, but it’s still a sign of the times that we’re seeing, including in the gaming industry.

With a release date still to be confirmed, EqiT should have a lot more to say about their plans of how it plans to get their new title to the shelves.
