EA is finally set for the opportunity it’s been waiting for. The gaming behemoth is in the process of completing a deal with a major Hollywood studio that could potentially include commercials in games. The deal is being discussed with a variety of media companies and entertainment companies, including Warner Bros. , Twentieth Century Fox, and others. The deal could be in the works by the end of the year. That deal would mark the first time that a game company could possibly air a commercial in a major game.

The move would follow a previous strategy by EA and other game companies to make commercials in video games following successes in the past. In January of 2008, EA launched a major project that would involve games being a part of commercials for the entertainment giant.
