In the early 1990’s the first generation of portable consoles were released, the Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn, and soon gamers were clamoring for a handheld console with a full, native motion-based controller. One of the very first companies to try to deliver the console, and the one most highly rated for their efforts, was Valve. Valve was a company not shy to take a chance, as their console was quite literally their baby. With one of the very first games and portables that they delivered on the portable console, Team Fortress 2, was a complete success. A decade later, they had finally succeeded in building a console with a touch-screen for the controller.

In the early part of the 2000’s (as the original version of the console was still around) a new game came out, on the Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox, The Last Of Us. Although the original Xbox version was a great success for the original console in its native form, the PlayStation version did not live up to its hype, and was not a huge success with critics and gamers alike. Now, that same console, which had already gone through that very short development, seemed to be falling behind. There was a lot of buzz, a lot of hype, and a lot of expectations, a lot of faith and a lot of faith for the team and their new venture.

The team was working on a new handheld console to take this company to the next level. A console that gamers and developers alike could be very excited about. One which would bring them together, not just with their favorite FPS games, but with others in the genre as well. One which would be a lot of fun, and a product that was actually affordable to play on and for everyone of the family in one of the most popular console generations of all time.

The original design of the console was for someone to do its own thing. An entirely new venture from this console would become the most successful console of its era, one that was not only fun to play, but would bring players together from around the world to play in a very competitive and fun environment.

Tips of the Day in Computer Games

We’re only a week in and already I’m at the end of the first week of a two-week long trip to Korea that started in Seoul, where we learned a little bit about what it takes to run a successful business in Korea. Also, we made a few new friends and got to meet some of our good friends from all over the world.

We’re spending the time in South Korea before we head back to the United States to continue our business in San Jose, a place that we’ve yet to visit. As it stands now, we’re in San Jose to help our good friend Kim.

We’ve made a lot of wonderful contacts, but we’ve also made some horrible ones. We’ve had the chance to meet in person some of those friends I’ve never met in the world before, and I’m happy to say I’ve learned some things about human nature.
